It is 40 miles long and culminates in Mt Aorangi, 3200 metres. Other peaks in this range are Crosscut, Turret, Cirque, Le Couteur, Inferno, Head and Omega Named by the NZFMCAE, 1962-63, after J M Miller, leader of this expedition.
