Today I came across a photograph on your website purporting to show the Antarctic supply ship Theron. The ship in question is actually HMNZS Endeavour.
I suspect the location of Endeavour in the photo is not the Weddell Sea as described. Theron was Vivian Fuchs ship and would of course have been photographed on the Weddell Sea side of Antarctica. I’m not sure that Endeavour ever went there.
Hopefully this information is enough proof that the ship is indeed Endeavour and not Theron.
