About
New Zealand-born, Melbourne-based contemporary jeweller Kirsten Haydon’s fascination with Antarctica began in 2004 when she travelled to the icy continent as the Antarctica New Zealand Antarctic Arts Fellow. Since 2004 Haydon has continued to engage with the Antarctic landscape and its history through jewellery and objects, investigating and portraying Antarctica through her own and others’ personal experiences.
Kirsten Haydon is a Lecturer in the School of Art at RMIT University and was a New Zealand Antarctic Arts Fellow in 2004
