DescriptionCold weather work- Heavy insulated snow boots known as 'Mukluks', woolen gloves, balaclava and condensing breath all accompany drilling on the sea ice in Antarctica. Mr Terry Quigley and Mr Vaughan Robson work on the McMurdo Sound Sediment and Tectonic Studies drilling rig on the sea ice in the McMurdo Sound, 80 kms west of Scott Base.
