DescriptionRobin Holdsworth of Waikato University uses potentiometer to measure temperatures in the hole drilled in the bottom of Lake Vanda| by the Dry Valley Drilling Project. Temperature sensitive devices are placed at a depth of 225 and 280 ft in the hole. Temperatures are measured regularly to confirm the lake is solar heated.
