Intelligence from the Ice: Communicating Antarctic Science

Each spring, Antarctica New Zealand sends approximately 150 scientists to the ice to conduct research on everything from space weather monitoring, to sea ice and Southern Ocean processes, to the effects of climate change on Antarctic marine invertebrates. Increasingly, the National Antarctic Programme is investing in strengthening its science communication efforts, to share the global significance of this majestic continent with New Zealanders and citizens worldwide.
