2021/22 Adelie Penguin Census

Collection DescriptionAdélie penguins are an indicator species used to detect and monitor the effects of environmental change on Antarctic marine ecosystems. The Ministry of Business, Employment and Innovation (MBIE) fund this survey on an annual basis, with logistics support provided by Antarctica New Zealand.
