Dr Hannah Kessenich and Dr James Brundell on top of Castle Rock during their overnight Antarctic Field Training (AFT) all-day session. James and Hannah made up Otago Space Physics Antarctic Expedition 17, which went to Scott Base on 9 February and returned on 16 February 2026. Mt Erebus dominates the background.
