Conservators Annick Vuissoz and Nicola Dunn unpack conserved artefacts at Cape Evans. the artefacts are transported across the sea ice in large plastic cubers towed on sleds by Hagglunds. Typically some 12oo artefacts were transported to and from the hut each year during the active conservaiton programme 2008-2015. Today's conditions were fine, but 15  knot winds made managing the artefacts a challenge.
