As in previous years the main purpose of the trip was to carry out removal of drift snow and ice from hut areas and where possible make any repairs necessary, bearing in mind that these repairs must not detract from the origional designs or patterns of Historic Sites. Where time permitted we were slo exprtected to retrieve any items of historical interest either exposed of easily recoverable from the areas visited.
